Shipping to Germany

Parcel delivery to Germany starting from £10.99

Whether you’ve been shipping to Germany for a while or you’re planning your first shipment, we are here to help you take advantage of the most industrialised country and largest economy in Europe.

Germany is not only a big exporting nation, it’s also the third largest import economy in the world, with an import value of $1.17 trillion in 2017. Famed for its technology achievements, the German market today is an economic giant, a prime mover of European cooperation and an attractive international business location. Every year more and more companies discover Germany as a secure and rewarding place to invest. Approximately 70,000 foreign companies are already operating in Germany, providing employment to around three million people.

With the EU Single Market, shipping a parcel to Munich, Cologne, Stuttgart or Berlin is just as easy as shipping a parcel from Glasgow to Manchester. So what are you waiting for? Use UPS for small businesses as your courier of choice and ship to Germany from as low as £10.19.

Send your parcel to Germany

We take our commitments seriously

Rest assured that all our services are fully tracked across country borders and you can check on your parcel’s status at any time for free.

Any of our express services include a money-back guarantee at no additional cost. With this, you receive an extra commitment on the delivery time and an added assurance that, if your parcel arrives late (unless due to events beyond our control), the shipping costs will be refunded or credited. You also get a basic coverage for loss or damage for up to £60. Should you wish to insure your shipment further (up to £1000), you can do so for only £5 incl. VAT.

Flexibility for you and your customers

If you value convenience over speed and want to save on shipping costs, choose UPS collection and drop-off points, known as UPS Access Point locations. These are local shops across your neighbourhood such as corner shops or grocers where you can drop off or collect parcels. The number of UPS Access Point locations has been growing across Europe, making it even easier to serve your customers abroad.

When you select the UPS Access Point to UPS Access Point delivery, you leave your parcel at the nearest UPS Access Point location when convenient for you and your customer in Germany collects it when convenient for them. Not only are you making it easier for your customers to get their parcels according to their schedule, you also save £2.00 VAT incl. by having the parcel sent to a collection point.

If you don’t have the time to leave your office – don’t worry, you can still offer the flexibility of a collection point to your customers without having to leave your office or home: simply schedule a collection and we will collect the parcels from you during your desired timeframe.

Germany Customs and Regulations

As you prepare your shipments to Germany, you might be asking yourself what type of special documentation you need for customs. With Brexit in effect since 1st January 2021, shipments to Germany, or any other EU country for that matter, are treated as any other export. Meaning shipments have to clear customs and require additional documentation such as a commercial invoice. You also need a unique ID, an Economic Operators Registration and Identification (EORI) number which is used to track and register customs information in the EU. For more information about international deliveries, you can head to our international delivery content centre where we have compiled a lot of useful information, from an export checklist, to guides on how to fill out a commercial invoice and register for an EORI number and much more.
