There are special stipulations on the following commodities when shipping to Macau. If you plan to ship one of the commodities listed below, be sure to adhere to the following stipulations in order to avoid delays and holds at customs.
- Shipments of animal skins require a Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) certificate.
- Shipments of agricultural pesticides require an import license.
- Computers, computer accessories, and integrated circuits, which are also referred to as strategic commodities, require an import license.
- Shipments of medicine require an Import License from the Macau Sanitary & Health Department.
- An import license is required for rice or grains, with or without husk, milled or not milled.
- Shipments of leather products must indicate the type of leather on the invoice and require an import license.
- Shipments of medicine require an Import License from the Macau Sanitary & Health Department.
- Approval required from Macau Police Department.
- Shipments of pharmaceuticals require an import license.
- Shipments of textiles over 5,000.00 MOP require an import license. A full description of the textile is required (for example, 100 percent woven shirt).
- Approval required from Macau Sanitary & Health Department.
