Choose UPS collection or drop-off points, also known as UPS Access Point™ locations, for your deliveries. These are local shops in your neighbourhood, such as grocers or corner shops where you and your customers can drop off and collect parcels.
Not only are you making your and your customers’ lives easier by shipping to and from a UPS Access Point location, you’re also saving money:
Save 3,60 € VAT incl. by dropping off your parcel at a UPS Access Point location in France and in select European countries.
Save 2,40 € VAT incl. by having your parcel delivered to a UPS Access Point location in France.
A small parcel within France would cost 9,59 € VAT incl. instead of 15,59 € VAT incl. and a small parcel to Spain, France or the Netherlands would cost you 15,59 € VAT incl. instead of 21,59 € VAT incl.
Selecting the UPS Access Point to UPS Access Point delivery option is easy and part of the shipping process. Once you have selected your destination country and parcel size, choose the option ‘I will drop it off at a UPS drop-off point” or “Deliver to UPS collection point”. You will see the shipping rate change immediately on the right side of the screen. Once you enter your personal details and those of your customer, the nearest drop-off and collection point will already be suggested for you, so you don’t have to search for the closest one yourself. Of course, you can also drop off your parcel at a location of your choice. Once your parcel is ready to be shipped, drop it off whenever it suits your schedule.
Convenience for your customer is key to their loyalty. Studies have shown that the more delivery options you give your customers, the more likely they are to buy from you – again and again. In fact, 70% of customers consider delivery options one of the most important factors while buying online.*

Not only will you do yourself a favour by saving on shipping costs, shipping to a UPS Access Point location will give your customers a safer and more practical delivery alternative – no longer do they need to sit at home and wait for the delivery, or worry about porch pirates.
When you ship to or from a UPS Access Point location, there are a few important things you should consider about the size and value of the parcel.
If you ship to a country in EU, you already know that the difference between shipping within France and to a EU member state is minimal as shipments do not have to clear customs (if you haven’t made the leap to export to another country, why don’t you take a look at our European parcel delivery page to get started?).
But did you also know that the UPS Access Point network is available to you even abroad? With more than 15,000 locations all across Europe, you can offer your European customers the same flexible delivery options as your customers at home.
Of course, just like any other shipment, parcels that are dropped off at a UPS Access Point and/or being collected from one are always tracked every step of the way, nationwide or across borders, and at no additional costs. This tracking service helps you stay in the loop with your shipments’ movements and keeps you and your customers in the know. Find out more on our How to track a parcel page, or immediately see the status of your shipments in our Tracking application.
