Export Shipping History

How To Export Shipping History

Your shipping history provides detailed shipping information based on any of various criteria you select. This section reviews how this detailed shipping information may be exported, then saved, and opened in a program of your choice to create your own reports. If any export request returns more than 25,000 shipping results, an error message displays asking you to narrow your export request criteria to reduce the number of results.

Follow these steps to export previous shipping history files for any time period up to 90 days.

  1. Select the Shipping tab and go to View History or Void Shipment.
  2. The shipping history allows you to choose a preset date period or a custom date range. (For custom date ranges, enter a start and end date. The start date cannot exceed 90 days from the present date).
  3. Once the date period has been selected, select Export History For. Set how the shipping history data will be gathered based on these criteria:

Location Name: A Location Search page displays, and you can enter a location name that Contains, Starts With, or Exactly Matches your search phrase. (To export history for the locations you administer, select Export History for All Locations Administered.)

  • Select Search, and when Location results display, choose one or more locations. (To see a consolidated list of the locations you´ve indicated, go to View Selections.)
  • To export history for the selected locations, select Export History.
    • If your request is for one location and the search returns fewer than 500 shipment records, a prompt displays to open the file or save it to disk.
    • If more than 500 shipments are returned, or multiple locations are selected, the request is run as part of a batch request, and when the file is ready to be retrieved, an e-mail notice is sent to you. Follow the prompts to open the file or save your file to disk. The file will be available to download for seven days.

Note: Administrative users will return to the Shipping History screen and select View Query Export List, select the desired file, and then select Download File.

Location and Reference: A Location Search page displays, and you can enter a location name that Contains, Starts With, or Exactly Matches your search phrase. (To export history for the locations you administer, select the Export History for All Locations Administered link.)

  • Select Search, and when Location Results display, select the checkbox next to one or more locations. To see a consolidated list of the locations you´ve indicated, go to View Selections.
  • Optional: Enter a reference number, and indicate the reference number´s source list. This allows you to narrow your results.

Note: Administrative users return to the shipping history and select View Query Export List, select the desired file, and then select Download File.
