Zones and Rates for the 48 Contiguous States
Package Services
To obtain your shipping rate, find your zone number, then reference the applicable rate type below. Please note that additional surcharges may apply. You can find detailed information about additional charges in the Rate and Service Guides, the Area Surcharge Listing, and Additional Charges pages.

Step 1: Determine Your Zone for Shipping Within the U.S. and to Puerto Rico
  • Enter the origin ZIP Code™ and select Download. A Zone Chart will display in this browser window. From the File Download pop-up window, select Open.
  • Locate the destination ZIP Code for your shipment. In some instances, only the first three digits of the destination ZIP Code will display.
  • Within the Chart, match your destination ZIP Code to your service of choice to determine your Zone. Use your browser's Back button to return to the previous page.

To download and save the worksheet:
  • Enter the origin ZIP Code and select Download.
  • From the File Download pop-up window, select Save.

To open the worksheet and save it while viewing:
  • Select File, then Save As, from your browser menu.
  • From the pop-up window, choose a Save in location, assign a File name, change the Save as type to Microsoft Excel Workbook (*.xls), and select Save.

Step 2: Obtain Your Rate
Choose the rate type that applies. Each Rate and Service Guide below includes U.S. domestic, import and export rates, value-added service rates, as well as Zone Charts for shipments to Canada and other international locations.
2016 Daily Rate and Service Guide
Choose the Daily Rate link below if you:
  • Have a scheduled UPS pickup
  • Have an agreement with UPS that provides for daily rates

Effective December 28, 2015, Daily Rates and Standard List Rates will be combined into a single publication, referred to as "Daily Rates." All Shippers who received Daily Rates or Standard List Rates prior to December 28, 2015, including Shippers with a customized shipping agreement that provides for Daily Rates or Standard List Rates, will receive the combined Daily Rates.

2016 Retail Rate and Service Guide
Choose the Retail Rate link below if you:
  • Do not receive UPS Scheduled Pickup service
  • Ship from a UPS retail location, such as The UPS Store® or UPS Customer Center
  • Ship infrequently with a UPS account number or payment card
