Most of the time, your driver can leave shipments for you even if you're not available. Track your shipment on ups.com® and follow these tips to receive your shipment the first time we try to deliver it.

Hassle-Free Home Delivery
Getting Started With UPS
You shouldn't have to worry about whether or not you'll be home when deliveries arrive. What you need is a way to manage all your UPS home deliveries--that's UPS My Choice®.

With a UPS My Choice Membership you can:

  • Get proactive notifications about your home deliveries with UPS My Choice Delivery Alerts
  • Reschedule or reroute the delivery of your package before the first delivery attempt
  • Give authorization online for UPS to deliver packages without a signature when you're not going to be home to sign for a package

And with two membership levels to choose from, UPS My Choice Member and UPS My Choice Premium Member, you decide how much control you need when it comes to managing your home deliveries.

If you're not a UPS My Choice Member and you need to change the delivery of your package before the first delivery attempt, please contact the shipper for alternate arrangements.

When Your Driver Leaves a UPS InfoNotice
Learn About the UPS InfoNotice
If your driver is unable to deliver your package, you'll receive a UPS InfoNotice®. The UPS InfoNotice lists important information, such as when we will make another attempt to deliver or if someone must be available to sign for the package. And, in some cases, your package will be delivered to a UPS Access Point™ location near you, allowing you to pick it up at a time that is convenient for you.

Your UPS InfoNotice provides you with lots of information. You can use the UPS InfoNotice number to track your shipment, reschedule the delivery date, arrange to pick up your shipment at a UPS Customer Center, have your shipment delivered to a different address, or return the shipment to the sender. Simply select the Track Your Shipment link below then enter your UPS InfoNotice number and follow the instructions.

Note: UPS will return to shipper all Ground packages after the final delivery attempt, with the exception of packages where the shipper requested a delivery signature. All Signature Required, Adult Signature Required, Air, UPS 3 Day Select® and International packages will be held for five business days to give the customer time to make arrangements to receive their packages.
