What do the different types of Quantum View Notify notifications tell me about my shipments?
An e-mail notification is sent when a shipment event occurs as the shipment moves through the UPS system. There are three shipment events that trigger a notification:

  • Ship: A Ship notification tells you when shipment information has been received by UPS.
  • Exception: An Exception notification informs you about the unforeseen events resulting in a change to the expected delivery day and includes the rescheduled delivery date.
  • Delivery: A Delivery notification tells you when the shipment has been delivered.
