Maintain Control of the Packages You Ship
As the shipper of a package you have several options when it comes to delivery speed. You can choose UPS Next Day Air®, UPS 2nd Day Air®, UPS 3-day Select®, or Ground. If you're really in a hurry, you can choose same day delivery with UPS Express Critical®.
But what happens when you discover the package you've sent needs to go to a different address, or maybe you want it sent back to you?
That's when you log on to My UPS and request a UPS Delivery Intercept®.
With UPS Delivery Intercept you have the ability to maintain control of your package as it moves through the UPS network.
Using either the UPS Shipping or Tracking systems, you can request an intercept at any time prior to the delivery of your package. When you submit a Delivery Intercept request, you can ask that UPS:
- Hold your package for pickup at a UPS operating facility
- Deliver your package to another address
- Reschedule the delivery of your package for a different date
- Return the package to you
A fee is assessed for all UPS Delivery Intercept requests except Hold for Pickup and, you will only be charged if your intercept request is completed.
