Receiving My Packages
Before a Delivery Attempt
Being at home for your deliveries doesn't always work out. We get it. That's why our UPS Access Point™ network includes independently owned and operated businesses that offer you a safe place to pick up your shipments--at your convenience.
Redirect your packages to your preferred UPS Access Point location before we make a first delivery attempt to your home with a UPS My Choice® Membership. You can even choose a default location to send your packages for free.
You can also ask your favorite retailers to include UPS Access Point locations as part of their shipping options, if they're not already. Once a retailer has incorporated our network into its delivery options, you can choose to ship to a location near you at checkout.
After a Delivery Attempt
If you're expecting a package, but you've missed the first attempt at delivery, you have options.
The UPS InfoNotice® lets you know we tried but were unable to deliver your package.
Using your UPS InfoNotice, you can reschedule the delivery of your package. Just log into My UPS and enter your UPS InfoNotice number in the Tracking field on the ups.com home page or the Tracking page.
With either of these options, you can request one of the following:
- Pick up My Package at a UPS Location: Have your package held at a UPS location such as The UPS Store®, a UPS Access Point location, or a UPS Customer Center.
- Deliver My Package to Another Address: Have your package delivered to another address when you will not be home.
- Deliver My Package on Another Day: Have your package delivered on a different day.
