UPS ocean freight customers may experience continued shipping delays because of terminal congestion in Yantian International Container Terminal. As a result of congestion and Covid-19 related reasons, delays upwards of 14 days are expected for the near future. Many shipping lines are omitting or diverting calls at Yantian and other South China ports (including Shekou and Nansha), with 92 vessels across Maersk, Ocean Network Express (ONE) and THE Alliance all omitting calls in the area.
