"UPS 1 Pickup Attempt" is a service option available with UPS Returns® or UPS Import Control®that allows the shipper to specify a single driver attempt to pick up a UPS package for return. The UPS driver brings the shipment label to the pickup location and picks up the package. If the package cannot be picked up, the label is left for the recipient to return the package via any UPS method.
Similarly, the "UPS 3 Pickup Attempts" allows the shipper to specify three driver attempts to retrieve a package for return. After the third pickup attempt, the label is returned to UPS.
You can help make sure that your package arrives safely and on time with these packaging guidelines and procedures developed from UPS research.
We understand that your packages may not fit any of the categories displayed. If that’s the case, simply select “add my own” and, if applicable, enter additional descriptions/details as requested.
