UPS Appoints Country Manager


Fernando Pantaleon's successful track record to help company accelerate its growth in the Southern Cone of South America

SANTIAGO, CHILE, Jan. 22, 2017 – UPS (NYSE: UPS), a global leader in logistics, has appointed Fernando Pantaleon as the new country manager for UPS Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay. Under this role, he will be responsible for spearheading all operations, as well as leading the strategy to drive and support all of the company´s business functions across these markets.  He most recently served as controller for UPS México since 2013.

Pantaleon began his career with UPS in 2002 as a financial and administration manager for UPS Argentina. Over the course of 15 years, he held several leadership positions across different business units, including finance, air cargo, small package and supply chain solutions for UPS Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Paraguay. In 2012, he completed a special assignment in Miami as the financial and administration manager for UPS´s Americas region, and later in 2013, accepted the position of controller for UPS Mexico.

Fernando holds a Bachelor´s degree in Accounting and Administration and is a C.P.A.
