UPS accepts Collect on Delivery (C.O.D.)shipments for delivery within the following areas:
Note: C.O.D. may not be available unless your CampusShip Administrator has enabled this option.
UPS C.O.D. service allows you to sell to customers without extending credit or requiring prepayment.
C.O.D. service is available for amounts up to USD 50,000 or local currency equivalent per package where the payment is by cheque. In the EU, Norway and Switzerland, UPS C.O.D. service is available for amounts up to USD 5,000 or local currency equivalent where the payment is cash (€ 750 for cash C.O.D. shipments to France). Note: Cash payment is available only in Europe. UPS delivers the C.O.D. package and collects from the consignee the amount shown on the UPS C.O.D. tag. Collected funds are remitted promptly.
You can request that UPS accept only a money order, cashier cheque, official bank cheque, cash (in Europe only), or similar instrument for the exact amount of the C.O.D. package. If you do not specify this option, UPS can also accept a business or personal cheque. UPS will not accept cash (currency) in any amount for a C.O.D. package. Note: In Canada, you can request that UPS accept only a money order, certified cheque or official bank draft.
For more details on C.O.D., select Resources on the tool bar, go to UPS Customer Service, go to Finding Rates and Delivery Times, and select Additional Services.
