Effective December 26, 2021, the rates for our services will have an average 2.8% net increase, inclusive of a reduction in certain Peak Surcharges*. This is one of the lowest net rate changes ever delivered by UPS.
A combination of base shipping increases and a reduction in lane-based surcharges delivers great value to customers. Additional information about the new rate changes will be available to download on ups.com this coming quarter to help you plan for the year ahead.
*The 2.8% average net increase is measured as an average across all shippers in markets in which this increase is applicable. The impact of these changes on your shipping costs will vary according to your shipping characteristics and the terms of your UPS agreement. The 2.8% average net rate increase includes increases to base rates (which may be greater than 2.8%) combined with reductions in certain applicable surcharges. The 2.8% average net rate increase applies only in selected markets; for details on rates applicable to your shipment, review the applicable UPS Rate and Service Guide at the time of shipment.
