One or more Peak Surcharges will apply to packages shipped during a Peak Period, based on service level and package characteristics. UPS will implement Peak Surcharges to Large Packages and Over Maximum Limit Packages, as well as Additional Handling charges on domestic services only.
From September 9, 2018 through to January 12, 2019, UPS will apply Peak Surcharges, in addition to normal surcharges applicable to such packages. UPS reserves the right to cap irregular, over maximum and large packages as required, to maintain expected service levels.

Over Maximum Limit**
A Peak Surcharge will be applied to packages with an actual weight of more than 150 pounds (70 kg), or that exceed 108 inches (274 cm) in length or a total of 165 inches (419 cm) in length and girth combined, as measured to determine their billable weight.
Large Package Surcharge*
A Peak Surcharge will be applied to each package when its length plus girth [(2 x width) + (2 x height)] combined exceeds 130 inches/330 centimetres.
