You'll need one of the following forms of identification to pick up your package at a UPS Access Point location:
If someone is picking up your package on your behalf, they will need to present the UPS InfoNotice® for the shipment or a tracking number for one of the packages in the shipment, along with a valid (current) government-issued photo identification. The complete address (including suite, unit or apartment number, if applicable) on the identification must match the address appearing on the UPS shipping label on the shipment.
If the address on the identification does not match the address appearing on the UPS shipping label on the shipment, they will also need to present a current copy of a utility bill (gas, hydro, phone or similar). The complete address on the utility bill must match the address that appears on the UPS shipping label on the shipment.
If your shipper provides a package release code for your delivery, your friend or family member can present their government issued photo identification and the code to pick up your package.*
*Note: While we'll notify you on shipment notifications or tracking status updates, if you need a code to pick up your package, your shipper will provide the code directly to you.
