Rating Preferences Tab in the Shipper Editor Window

The Rating Preferences tab allows you to set rate types, a storage preference for the rates, and an alternate exchange rate and currency to display shipment costs.

Using the Rating Preferences tab:

1. Under Shipping and Shipment History Windows, set rate type preferences for the Shipping and Shipment History windows:

2. Click the down arrow in the Primary box and select a rate type, or select No Rates if you do not want to see the rates displayed.
   
   Tip: UPS WorldShip uses only the Primary preference in the Shipping window.

3. Click the down arrow in the Secondary box and select a rate type, or select No Rates if you do not want to see the rates displayed.
   
   Tip: If you select No Rates in the Primary box, No Rates also appears in the Secondary box.

2. Under Package and Shipment Doc Labels, set rate type preferences for the package and shipment doc labels:

3. Click the down arrow in the Primary box and select a rate type, or select No Rates if you do not want to see the rates displayed.

4. Click the down arrow in the Secondary box and select a rate type, or select No Rates if you do not want to see the rates displayed.

3. Under Daily Shipment Detail Report, set a rate type preference for the Daily Shipment Detail Report:

4. Click the down arrow in the Primary box and select a rate type, or select No Rates if you do not want to see the rates displayed.

5. Click the down arrow in the Secondary box and select a rate type, or select No Rates if you do not want to see the rates displayed.

4. Under Rates Stored, review your storage preferences for the rates.
   
   Tip: The check boxes for these preferences are inactive and selected (based on your selections under Rating Display Modes). WorldShip uses these preferences during shipment export.

5. Under Rate/Currency, select an alternate exchange rate and currency to display shipment costs:

6. To display an alternate currency, select the Use Alternate Rate/Currency check box. The Exchange Rate and Alternate Currency boxes become active.
   
   Tip: Clear this check box if you do not want to display an alternate currency. The Exchange Rate and Alternate Currency boxes become inactive.

• Type the exchange rate in the Exchange Rate box.

• Click the down arrow in the Alternate Currency box and select a currency code. If the appropriate code is not shown, type a code in this box.

6. Click the OK button. The Shipper Editor window appears.

7. Click the Close button. The Shipping window appears.
