The Toolbar Editor allows you to select from a predefined list of buttons and configure the selected buttons for use on a custom toolbar. You can dock the toolbar vertically to the left or right side of the Shipping, Shipment History, and Profile Editor windows or float the toolbar horizontally anywhere on your screen.
To create and save a custom toolbar:
Click Toolbar Editor on the Tools menu. The Toolbar Editor window appears.
Create a list of buttons
for the toolbar by doing the following:
Tip: You can create a total of 28 buttons. The current number
created is shown to the right of the Selected Buttons box.
To add a button to the toolbar, select the button in the Available Buttons box and click the Add button. The button is added to the Selected Buttons box and may be removed from the Available Buttons box if it is a non-permanent button.
To remove a button from the toolbar, select the button in the Selected Buttons box and click the Remove button. The button is removed from the Selected Buttons box, and all information for the button is discarded once you click the OK button in step 6.
To remove all the buttons from the toolbar, click the Remove All button. All buttons are removed from the Selected Buttons box, and all information for the buttons is discarded once you click the OK button in step 6.
Edit the selected button as follows:
If you added a permanent button from the Available Buttons box to the Selected Buttons box, the Toolbar Button Editor window appears because you must supply additional information to configure the selected button. See Modify Buttons on a Custom Toolbar.
If you added
a non-permanent button from the Available Buttons box to the Selected
Buttons box, continue with step 4.
Tip: The Toolbar Button Editor window will not automatically
appear when adding a non-permanent button because no further information
is needed to configure the selected button. If you want to change the
defaults for the selected button, click the Edit button. See Modify Buttons on a Custom Toolbar.
Arrange the buttons in the Selected Buttons box to match the desired order of the buttons on the toolbar:
To move a button up in the list, select the button and click the Move Up button.
To move a button down in the list, select the button and click the Move Down button.
To view and use the toolbar:
Select the Enable Toolbar check box to make the toolbar visible. Clear the check box to make the toolbar invisible (that is, the information is retained but is not visible after clicking the OK button).
Select the Dock
Toolbar check box to dock the toolbar on the right side of the Shipping,
Shipment History, and Profile Editor windows. Clear this check box to
float the toolbar anywhere on your screen.
Note: If you clear the Dock Toolbar check box and float the
toolbar, you can drag and drop the toolbar and dock it on either side
of the Shipping, Shipment History, or Profile Editor windows.
Click the OK button to save
the toolbar.
Note: If you want to discard changes made during this session,
click the Cancel button.
