The Toolbar Button Editor window allows you to configure and customize the buttons on a custom toolbar.
To access the Toolbar Button Editor window and configure or customize a toolbar button:
On the Tools menu, select Toolbar Editor. The Toolbar Editor window appears.
To add a new button on the toolbar:
Select the button in the Available Buttons box.
Click the Add button.
If you added a permanent button,
the Toolbar Button Editor window appears and shows information for the
selected button. The name of the button appears in the title bar. Skip
to step 4.
If you added a non-permanent button, the name of the button appears in
the Selected Buttons box. If you want to edit the button, continue with
step 3; otherwise, skip to step 7.
To edit an existing button on the toolbar:
Select the button in the Selected Buttons box.
Click the Edit button.
The Toolbar Button Editor window appears and
shows information for the selected button. The name of the button appears
in the title bar.
To edit a permanent button, continue with step 4; otherwise, skip to step
5.
Complete the appropriate action if you added or are editing a permanent button:
For the Shipper Number button, click the down arrow in the Shipper Number box and select a shipper number.
For the Profile button, click the down arrow in the Profile box and select a profile.
For the Start Keyed Import button, select a map name in the Start Keyed Import box.
For the Batch Import button, select a map name in the Batch Import box.
For the Batch Export button, select a map name in the Batch Export box.
Complete the following in the Toolbar Button Editor window as needed:
To add a tooltip for the button, type up to 80 characters in the Tooltip Text box or use the UPS supplied tooltip.
To add a graphic
image on the button, select Use Graphic Image and click the down arrow
in the Image box and select an image (the image box shows a UPS supplied
image and any other images already associated with another button). If
you want a custom image, click the Browse button and navigate to and select
the desired image.
Note: The image type must be .bmp. The maximum size is 76 x
50 pixels, and the minimum size is 19 X 12 pixels. The default size is
38 X 25 pixels.
To add text
on the button, select Use Text as Image and type up to 25 characters in
the Your Text box.
Note: As you type text, the font will become smaller in order
to fit on the button. If you want smaller type, but with minimal characters,
add spaces before and after the text.
To pick a background color for the button, click the Background Color button. The Color window appears. Select a color or define a custom color and click the OK button.
To pick a text color for the button, click the Text Color button. The Color window appears. Select a color or define a custom color and click the OK button.
Click the OK button. The Toolbar Editor window appears.
Repeat this procedure as needed or click the OK button.
