The shipment navigation bar to the left of the Process Shipment button contains buttons that help you display the data on each package in a shipment. Use the shipment navigation bar to:
Add multiple packages to a shipment.
Delete a package(s) from a shipment.
Change package data.
Use the First, Previous, Next, and Last buttons to view the data on each package, and use the Add/Repeat and the Delete Pkg/Modify Shpmt buttons to add a package to a shipment, repeat the same package data for the next package, delete a package in a shipment, or change the data on a package in a shipment. The following text explains these buttons in more detail.
First, Previous, Next, and Last Buttons
Click the First, Previous, Next, and Last buttons to display the appropriate package of the current shipment. The number in the box between the Previous and Next buttons identifies the package displayed in the Shipping window. You can type a number to display a specific package. This number automatically updates to show the current package number when you add one or more packages to the shipment.
The text on this bar indicates the following:
is NEW at the end of the bar means you are entering information about a new package to be added to the shipment.
of x at the end of the bar indicates the current number of packages in the shipment (for example, of 2).
Pkg 2 of 3 as you read across the entire bar means that you are editing the second package in a three-package shipment, or Pkg 2 is NEW as you read across the entire bar means that you are adding a second package to a one-package shipment.
Before you type any shipment information, the Add button is inactive. This button becomes active when you begin to type information for a new package. To add a package to the shipment (including the first package), click the Add button when you have completed all information for the package. The current package is added to the shipment, and the Add button becomes inactive. When you begin to type information for the next package, the Add button becomes active again.
If the displayed package is not the last one, this button is labeled Repeat. Click the Repeat button to add a new package to the current shipment identical to the displayed package.
Type the number of packages you want to add.
Delete Pkg/Modify Shpmt Button
If you use the shipment navigation bar to display one of the packages already added to the current shipment, the Delete Pkg button becomes active. Click this button to delete the package currently displayed in the Shipping window from the current shipment.
If you use the shipment navigation bar to display one of the packages already added to the current shipment and then change the data for that package, this button is labeled Modify Shpmt. Click this button to accept your changes. Note that if you change the service-level or shipment-level options, the changes apply to all packages in the current shipment.
