Specify the Ship To Address

On the Ship To tab in the Shipping window, you must provide information about the company or customer receiving your shipment and the delivery address. The blue labels indicate required fields.

To display information for an existing customer from the Address Book, do one of the following:

UPS WorldShip fills in the rest of the address information from the Address Book.

To display information for a new customer:

  1. Select the Update Address Book check box to add the new customer to the Address Book. Clear this check box if you do not want to add the new customer to the Address Book.

  2. Select the Residential check box if the shipment is to be delivered to a residential location in the US 50 or Canada. It also applies for Canada to Canada and Canada to US 50 shipments (for Standard shipments). Do not select this check box if the shipment is to be delivered to a commercial location in the US 50 or Canada.

  3. Type the name and address of the person or company to receive your shipment. See Address Guidelines.

  4. Type the telephone, e-mail address (see Validate E-mail Addresses), UPS account number, and tax ID number in the optional boxes as needed.
