Alternate Exchange Rate and Currency
UPS WorldShip displays shipment costs based on the default currency and country of origin. Use the Shipper Editor to change the currency for a specific shipper, whereby any windows that display shipment costs for that shipper reflect the alternate rate and currency. See Rating Preferences Tab in the Shipper Editor Window.
The exchange rate is the ratio at which the default currency in the country of origin is exchanged for another currency, which you specify in the Alternate Currency box.
To help you determine the currency used to display shipment costs for a particular shipper:
If a three-character code followed by an asterisk (such as EUR*) appears near or beside a shipment cost, the cost is based on an alternate currency for that shipper.
If a three-character code followed by an asterisk does not appear near or beside a shipment cost, the cost is based on the default currency and country of origin.
