Notes:
XML Auto Import processing is inactive if at least one shipper is enabled for UPS Smart Pickup.

Local Area Network (LAN) workstation restrictions: Multiple workstations can open the XML Auto Import window concurrently and start the XML Auto Import process, provided each workstation uses a different folder to import data.
To begin processing shipments in an XML Auto Import session:
On the Import/Export Data menu, click XML Auto Import. The XML Auto Import window appears.
Click the Browse button
under XML Auto Import File Folder. The Browse For Folder window appears.
Tip: You can also type the XML directory
name in the XML Auto Import File Folder box and skip to step 4.
Select the location from which to read the XML import information and click the OK button. The XML Auto Import window appears.
Click the Browse button
under Log File Destination Folder. The Browse For Folder window appears.
Tip: You can also type the XML directory
name in the Log File Destination Folder box and skip to step 6.
Select the location in which to save the XML information and click the OK button. The XML Auto Import window appears.
Click the Start button. UPS WorldShip displays a reminder for you to check your print stock.
Click the OK button. The XML Auto Import window appears, and WorldShip polls your database and processes any new shipments.
Use the following information to monitor your XML Auto Import session:
During the XML processes, the following messages can appear under Status:
"Waiting for File" - WorldShip cannot find any files to process.
"Waiting for workstation xxx to complete operation yyy." - Another workstation is processing files.
"Importing" - WorldShip is reading a file from the location specified in the XML Auto Import File Folder box.
"Processing" - WorldShip is processing the file.
Under Summary in the XML Auto Import window, view cumulative totals of shipments that process successfully and shipments that fail validation during the current session. When you start a new XML Auto Import session, these totals show zero. As new shipments are imported and processed, WorldShip updates the summary totals to show the progress of the current session. If you stop the current session and then begin a new session, these totals show zero.
In the XML Auto Import window, click the View Log button to view the XML Auto Import log, located in the folder that you specified in the Log File Destination Folder box. If you click this button, the log file appears. The log file shows information for that day only.
The XML Auto Import window appears when imported shipments are being processed.
