There are currently two user categories for the UPS OnLine® Tools: end users and third party developers. CHOOSE THE DESCRIPTION THAT FITS YOUR BUSINESS End User An end user incorporates the tools into their business's e-commerce-enabled applications that are not available for commercial sale. If you are an end user, there are a few steps to take before you access the tools, mostly in the exchange of information. These steps will generate keys, or unique identifiers, which will provide you access to UPS systems. Third Party Developer A third party developer incorporates the tools into other companies' e-commerce applications or software applications built for direct or indirect sale to the public. If you are a third party developer, go to the third party developer instructions.
