Minimum System Requirements for WorldShip 2008, version 10.0:
- PC: For Windows® 2000 and Windows XP: IBM® -compatible PC with a Pentium class processor running at 266 MHZ or higher (1GHz recommended)
- Operating System: Windows 2000 (32-bit) SP4 or higher, Windows XP (32-bit) SP2 or higher
- Memory: For Windows 2000 and Windows XP: 128 MB RAM (512 MB recommended)
- Space Requirements: 1.5 Gig free hard disk space for standalone and LAN admin. 1.3 Gig free hard disk space for remote installation. An additional 600 MB fee disk space required on the share drive for LAN installations
- Monitor: Super VGA or higher resolution
- Minimum Resolution: 800 X 600 or higher resolution recommended
- Minimum Color Depth: 256
- Mouse: Microsoft® mouse or compatible pointing device
- Report Printer: HP® Laser Jet®-compatible with minimum 300 dpi
- Label Printer: HP Laser Jet -compatible with minimum 300 dpi or UPS Thermal Label Printer
- Communication: TCP/IP installed, Dial-Up Networking if you are communicating via modem, and Dial-Up Adapter if you are communicating via modem
- Internet Communication: Hayes® compatible asynchronous modem if you are communicating via modem (Min. 28800 baud, 56800 baud rate recommended) OR Internet connection via direct connection on the user's LAN
- Browser: For Windows 2000 Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher. For Windows XP Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
- MDAC: Microsoft Data-Access Components (MDAC) 2.8 SP1 or higher (installed if not present)
- Database: Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) or Microsoft SQL Server ™(MSDE) does not need to be present on the system prior to installation. However, it present on the system at the time of installation, must be either MSDE 2000 (SP3a or later) or Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (SP3a or later)
- Devices: 4X (or higher) CD-ROM drive, Parallel devices (printers), Serial devices (printers, scales, and scanner), USB (scales and label printers)
- .NET: Microsoft® .NET Framework 2.0. If this version is not present, the install/upgrade program will install it side-by-side with any existing installation of the .NET Framework
