Track by Reference
- Choose whether your shipment is a package or freight by selecting the appropriate radio button.
- Enter the shipment reference for a package or freight shipment. A reference is any combination of letters and numbers up to 35 characters that you assign to a shipment during the shipping process.
- Select a ship date range from the drop-down menus. For package shipments, enter a date range of up to six months from the initial shipment date. For freight shipments, you can enter a range of up to 25 months from the initial shipment date.
- To further narrow your search, enter the origin country and postal/ZIP code (for freight shipments only), the destination country and postal/ZIP code, and/or the shipper's UPS account number.
- Select Track.
Repeat these steps for any additional shipments you would like to track by reference.
