Description: The Shipper’s Export Declaration (SED) form 7525-V is required on shipments with a single schedule B commodity valued at greater than US$2,500. It is used to provide statistical data for the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and to assist in enforcing export controls. The form 7525-V is to be completed and signed by the shipper (exporter) or their agent, and includes the following information: description (with the Schedule B or HTS number), value, weight, destination, and other basic information about the shipment. Shipments to most destinations valued under US$2,500 are exempt.
