How do I ship an international package using UPS Internet Shipping?
UPS allows customers to ship internationally when they have the required export documentation for each package. When export documentation is required, UPS Internet Shipping allows exporters the option of completing certain paperwork online.

For international shipments, start your online process for each package as you would with any shipment. When information you've entered indicates an international shipment, additional details will be required (e.g., telephone numbers and contact names).

International shipments could also require export documentation, which you can access online in UPS Internet Shipping.

How can I ship C.O.D. using UPS Internet Shipping?
UPS offers Collect on Delivery (C.O.D.) service for shipments:

  • Within Canada
  • In and between the U.S. and Puerto Rico
  • Within the EU, Norway, and Switzerland

UPS C.O.D. service allows you to sell to customers without extending credit or requiring prepayment. C.O.D. service is available on an individual package basis for any service level. UPS delivers the C.O.D. package and collects from the consignee the amount shown on the UPS C.O.D. tag. C.O.D. funds are remitted promptly.

You can request that UPS accept only a money order, cashier's check, official bank check, or similar instrument for the exact amount of the C.O.D. package. If you do not specify this option, then UPS can also accept a business or personal check. In the U.S. and Puerto Rico, UPS will not accept currency in any amount for a C.O.D. package.
