Quantum View® Manage now makes tracking your shipments even easier. Enhancements have been made to simplify your view of outbound, inbound, third party and import shipments. These changes provide more advanced visibility and tracking features with helpful search and filter tools that enable you to get to specific shipments faster. You can proactively track shipment status activity through e-mail notifications and get immediate access to signature images of your delivered shipments.

UPS OnLine Tools is now the UPS Developer Kit. As with UPS OnLine Tools, the Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in the Developer Kit integrate UPS functionality into your applications, e-commerce sites, and business systems.We've now streamlined access to the APIs and improved developer support.
API Improvements
Enhanced APIs give your customers the ability to track products they've purchased online, compare and choose from a variety of shipping services, and handle shipping logistics more efficiently than ever before.

UPS Internet Shipping and UPS CampusShip have added new features that make shipping online more flexible:
- UPS Returns Saturday Delivery: Now, when creating a return shipment going to the U.S. or Puerto Rico, shippers can have return shipments delivered on Saturday, extending their workweek to increase productivity.
- Commercial Invoice Currency: International shippers can specify an alternative currency when creating commercial invoices during the shipping process to manage international trade their way.
- European Union Third Party Billing: Bill shipping fees to a third party in a European Union or non-European Union country.

UPS now offers you the ability to offset carbon dioxide emissions generated by the transport of your packages within the United States.
When you use UPS Internet Shipping in the U.S., you'll have the option of paying a small fee to calculate and offset the climate impact of the shipment of each of your packages. We will match the offsets purchased in 2009-2010, up to $1 million. |
