I was unable to register for UPS My Choice and received a 1013 error. What does this mean?

When you register for a UPS My Choice® Membership we use legal, public record information to verify your identity and create security questions specific to you.

You received a 1013 error because we were unable to match the information you provided with the information available in the public record. This could be the result of a recent move or a name change.

As a result of insufficient information, valid security questions could not be generated and you could not complete the UPS My Choice registration process.

If you haven't moved or recently changed your name, we recommend entering your information as it appears in public records. (e.g. utility bills, mortgage, etc.)

Note: It may take a few months for the updated information to appear.
