Can I have my package delivered to another address?

It doesn't matter if you're shipping a package or waiting for a delivery, UPS offers several options if you want to have your package delivered to another address, held for pickup at a UPS Operating Facility, or returned to the sender.

If You're Receiving a Package

UPS InfoNotice®

If you're expecting a package and missed the first delivery attempt, you probably received a UPS InfoNotice.

The InfoNotice lets you know we were unable to deliver your package.

Using your InfoNotice number, you can request that UPS:

  • Hold your package for pickup at a UPS Operating Facility
  • Deliver your package to another address
  • Deliver your package on a different day
  • Return the package to the sender
Note: A fee is assessed for all delivery change requests except Hold for Pickup and Return to sender. You will only be charged upon the redelivery of your package.

UPS My Choice®

Prior to the first delivery attempt, UPS My Choice gives you more flexibility over home deliveries. 

As a My Choice Member you can request a Hold for Will Call or an authorized shipment release.

For an additional $5, you can have your package

  • Delivered to The UPS Store
  • Delivered on a different day
  • Delivered to a different address

If You're Shipping a Package

UPS Delivery Intercept®

If you're shipping a package and discover it needs to go to a different address, you can request a UPS Delivery Intercept.

A UPS Delivery Intercept lets you maintain control of a package as it moves through the UPS network and can be requested at any time prior to the first delivery attempt.

With UPS Delivery Intercept , you can also request a hold for will call, a different delivery date, or you can have the package returned to the sender.

Note: A fee is assessed for all UPS Delivery Intercept requests except Hold for Will Call. You will only be charged if your intercept request is completed.
