|If you require a UPS On-Call Pickup®, you should be aware that UPS has made some enhancements regarding the UPS On-Call Pickup charge. This charge is now applied per pickup request instead of per package. So no matter how many air, ground, or international packages you need picked up, there is just one UPS On-Call Pickup charge.
When you schedule a pickup, you may be asked for a payment method. Payment options include:
- Bill to your UPS account number
- Bill to a payment/credit card
- Pay with a check or money order
- Bill to the receiver or a third party's account number
UPS account numbers are required in order to bill a UPS On-Call Pickup charge to the receiver or a third party. You will be asked to provide your UPS account number and pickup ZIP CodeTM, as well as the account number and pickup ZIP Code of the recipient or third party. You may need to contact the recipient or third party to obtain this information. Your UPS account number will not be billed unless the recipient or third party refuses to pay.
If you do not have a UPS account number, please open a UPS account by selecting the link below. Having a UPS account enables you to store your pickup address so you do not have to re-key this information each time you schedule a pickup.
If the package label used for your shipment is a Return Service label (label has "ARS" or "RS" in the upper right corner), it's possible that the UPS On-Call Pickup charge will be billed to the company you received it from. If not, you will be responsible for payment of the On-Call Pickup charge.
Customers who select UPS Smart Pickup®, Day-Specific Pickup, or Daily Pickup receive one free UPS On-Call Pickup of air or international packages per day for shipments tendered after their scheduled pickup time at their usual shipping location. Packages tendered at an alternate pickup location incur UPS On-Call Pickup fees. (For Day-Specific Pickup, the total number of free UPS On-Call Pickups for the week will not exceed the number of selected pickup days).
In addition to UPS On-Call Pickup, UPS offers a broad range of free access points to drop off your package, including drop boxes, UPS Customer Counters, and The UPS Store® locations. Or you may simply hand your packages to any UPS driver.
