How do I upgrade my remotes, which are running Vista, for use with WorldShip?
If your LAN Admin PC is running Windows® XP, and your remotes are running Windows Vista™, you will not be able to upgrade your remotes with the initial release of WorldShip. Look for additional communications from UPS regarding a Windows Vista-enabled version of UPS WorldShip 2008.

How do I upgrade my vendor system for use with WorldShip?
If your system is integrated with a UPS Ready® (or other third-party) vendor system, these applications may not be compatible with UPS WorldShip 2008. Do not upgrade until you contact the UPS Ready (or other third-party) vendor.

Why did my recipient not get the Bill of Lading and/or freight labels via e-mail when I am using WorldShip?
Currently the option to E-mail the Bill of Lading (BOL) as well as the Freight labels is not available. This concern will be addressed in a future release of WorldShip 2008, version 10.0.

Can I use the WorldShip Import/Export Wizard to import my International freight shipments?
Currently the ability to utilize the WorldShip Import/Export Wizard for international Freight movements is not available because the description of goods field, and the create an invoice indicator cannot be mapped. This will be resolved in a future release of WorldShip.

Why can't I find the Ultimate Consignee field when using the WorldShip Import/Export Wizard?
At this time, the Ultimate Consignee field cannot be mapped using the Import/Export Wizard. You will need to create your mappings using the Connection Assistant in WorldShip if you wish to export this field. This will be resolved in a future release of WorldShip.

Why won't the WorldShip Import/Export Wizard allow me to save my map?
If you are trying to use a map name that contains spaces you will receive an error. Please try saving your map again ensuring that the map name you choose does not contain any spaces. This will be resolved in a future release of WorldShip.

Why can't I create a map for my multi-piece shipment in WorldShip?
Currently the ability to create a map for a multi-piece shipment does not exist in the Import/Export Wizard. You will need to create your mappings using the Connection Assistant in WorldShip for your multi-piece shipment. This will be resolved in a future release of WorldShip.

How do I map billing options for my freight shipment in WorldShip?
Currently the ability to map billing options for a Freight movement is not available. You must select the appropriate billing option for your Freight movement from the Service tab on the WorldShip shipping screen. The option to E-mail the Bill of Lading (BOL), as well as the Freight labels, is not available. This will be resolved in a future release of WorldShip.

Why doesn't my WorldShip Freight detail report show my freight shipments that were billed third party?
Currently any Freight shipments that are processed and billed third party do not display as such on the Freight Daily Detail Report. This will be resolved in a future release of WorldShip.

Why do I get an invalid city name error in WorldShip?
Currently if you attempt to process a Freight shipment from HI to the US (Zip Code - 10950), WorldShip will return an invalid city name error. This concern will be addressed in a future release of WorldShip.

Why can't I see my return services shipments in WorldShip history?
At this time, return service movements are not being properly identified in history. This concern will be addressed in a future release of WorldShip.

Why didn't I get the delivery confirmation that I requested in WorldShip?
Currently in WorldShip when shipping from the U.S. to Canada using UPS Standard service with Delivery Confirmation Signature or Adult Signature Required, the service indicator is missing. As a result, you will not receive a Delivery Confirmation. This will be resolved in a future release of WorldShip.

Using the WorldShip Help File:

  1. Select the Help menu item at the top of the screen.
  2. Select UPS WorldShip Help.
  3. You can utilize the Content, Index, or Find tabs to locate information within the help files.

To receive WorldShip support through e-mail, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Support tab in the area at the top of the page.
  2. Select the E-mail UPS link towards the bottom of the Support page.
