Service Details
- The accessorial charge is the same as the domestic U.S. hazardous materials surcharges (see applicable UPS rate chart).
- Current hazardous materials shippers will be eligible for the service expansion via their existing domestic (U.S.) hazardous materials contract.
- In order to use the service, customers must use a UPS compliant shipping solution in conjunction with hazardous materials shipment preparation software.
- The UPS Chemical Table on UPS.com has been updated with the dangerous goods that may be transported in this service.
- The service will require shippers to use a new Dangerous Goods Shipping Paper. See sample Shipping Paper below.
