Additional charges can occur when shipments are not processed properly in your UPS shipping system (UPS WorldShip®, UPS CampusShip™, and UPS Internet Shipping). For example, some of the most common errors happen when Dimensional Weight criteria is not calculated accurately. To avoid these and other common errors, simply refer to the tips below.
|
| When calculating your shipping rates, consider Dimensional Weight if your package has a large size-to-weight ratio. |
 |
| UPS Internet Shipping and UPS CampusShip Users |
Avoid Dimensional Weight shipping charge corrections by indicating correct package dimensions in your UPS Internet Shipping system:
- After entering address information, enter the actual weight and package dimensions in section 3: What are you Shipping?
- Enter remaining shipment information, select Review Shipment Details, then Next, if Dimensional Weight applies, it will be automatically calculated and displayed as the Billable Weight on the preview screen.
