Analyze Your Billing Data with Ease
New Electronic Billing Offering UPS is now offering UPS Billing Data and its companion Billing Analysis Tool as the next generation of the Flat File Bill and Flat File Bill Tool. Both solutions provide a way for you to integrate electronic billing information, along with a tool for viewing and analyzing billing data.
Billing Data and the Billing Analysis Tool improve upon the Flat File Bill in several ways, such as giving you a global view of your billing data and additional data fields not found in the UPS Flat File Bill.
To enroll in UPS Billing Data, please contact your UPS Representative.
Flat File Bill The UPS Flat File Bill is an electronic file that contains UPS billing data. The comma-delimited file is sent weekly to as many as five e-mail addresses of your choice. The Flat File Bill makes expense management far easier than with a paper bill.

Note: The UPS Flat File Bill does not include some data elements such as: charges for optional services such as C.O.D., and declared value fees; message codes from the paper invoice; location and store numbers; tier incentive level information for multi-account customers; consignee billing vendor numbers; and account payment status for multi-account customers. In addition, the Flat File Bill does not differentiate between document and non-document indicators for international shipments.
