- Carefully review the documentation
- Acquire parser and utility software for SSL. For Signature Tracking and Shipping tools, obtain software for Base64 encoding to support graphic images
- Determine how your application will connect to the Internet (consult your network administrator and security staff, if applicable)
- Design a strategy for error handling
- Develop your application
- Obtain an Access Key from UPS.com
- Perform integration testing with the UPS Customer Integration Environment
- Complete the UPS product review process
- Launch your application
