UPS: Quantum View Data

Quantum View^® Data - Inbound is a secure Web-based service that gives you access to the latest, detailed shipment information about the UPS packages you receive from your vendors, customers or other business locations. By seeing the package details and delivery status of UPS packages sent by multiple vendors to receiving locations across your organization, you can: Improve inventory management and planning Sell goods that are in transit from your vendor/supplier Efficiently allocate production and receiving staff based on incoming shipment volume Proactively notify your sales force and service technicians that critical shipments have arrived Reduce time spent tracking individual packages Get straight to the analysis by using file formats that import directly into familiar desktop applications or enterprise systems

Inbound Notification Provides you with complete manifest information. You receive forecasted delivery dates for inbound and return packages, including scheduled day of delivery, as well as any exception updates that could potentially change these delivery dates. The service also includes ship date and exception updates (includes delivery exceptions), where rescheduled day of delivery is calculated, shipped from and shipped to address information, reference number information, and Location ID. Inbound and Delivery Notification Includes all the information provided by Inbound Notification as described above, plus delivery information including delivery date and time, COD amount, reference numbers, and full delivery address. This information provides closed-loop proof for packages you receive.

Inbound information can be provided either via a Location ID or based upon a registered Receiving Address. Batch files contain updates and exceptions, so you only get the information you need Files updates available for download up to 24 hours per day Choice of file formats that easily import into Microsoft® Excel, Word, Access, Lotus 1-2-3, SQL and Oracle® databases, and other database software Flexibility to activate and deactivate the service according to your business needs Secured, password-protected file download E-mail notifications when files are ready for download To use Quantum View Data - Inbound, your company must have a UPS account.
