Pickups with UPS Returns Plus
If you've ever had to organize customer returns, you're aware of the challenges that collecting those returns can pose. UPS Returns® Plus can help you by simplifying the returns process. With UPS Returns Plus services, you can:
- Arrange for UPS to create and deliver your return shipping label to your customer and collect the item for return
- Have a UPS driver pick up the package to be returned directly from your customer
- Process single or multiple piece return shipments
- Associate your own reference numbers with the item being returned
- Process returned items more quickly and efficiently, including a direct link with your customer service or warehouse operations
- Conveniently schedule pickup requests up to 30 days in advance
You can use these UPS Returns Plus options if you are shipping within the U.S. and international origins through UPS WorldShip™, UPS Internet Shipping, UPS CampusShip™, UPS Returns on the Web, or UPS OnLine™ compatible shipping systems.

- 3 UPS Pickup Attempts - provides convenient pickup options for the prompt return of your company's return shipments

Instructions
1 UPS Pickup Attempt Returns Plus
- Transmit a request to UPS for a pickup attempt using your UPS WorldShip, UPS Internet Shipping, UPS CampusShip, UPS Returns on the Web, or UPS OnLine compatible shipping systems.
- The UPS driver takes a return label to the pickup location and picks up the package.
- If the package cannot be picked up, the driver will leave the return label at the location.
- Your customer then applies the label to the package.
- Your customer can give the package to a UPS driver or drop it off at any location of The UPS Store®, UPS Drop Box, UPS Customer Center, UPS Alliance Location (Office Depot or Staples), or UPS Authorized Shipping OutletSM. If it is more convenient, your customer can call 1-800-PICK-UPS or go to UPS.com® to request a pickup.
- Shipping charges are incurred when the return package is tendered to UPS.
The maximum Declared Value for each 1 UPS Pickup Attempt Returns Plus package is US$999.
The maximum acceptable size for each Drop Box package is 16"x13"x2".
3 UPS Pickup Attempts Returns Plus
- Transmit a request to UPS for three pickup attempts using your UPS WorldShip, UPS Internet Shipping, UPS CampusShip, UPS Returns on the Web, or UPS OnLine compatible shipping systems.
- The UPS driver takes return label to the pickup location and picks up the package.
- If the package cannot be picked up, the driver will attempt to collect the package on each of the next two business days.
- If, after three attempts, the package has not been picked up, the driver will return the label to UPS.
- Shipping charges are incurred when the return package is tendered to UPS.
The maximum Declared Value for 3 UPS Pickup Attempts Returns Plus is US$50,000.
