UPS Exchange Collect
Improve your cash flow and reduce the risk of doing business with international trading partners.

Overview
UPS Exchange CollectSM - our version of an international "Collect on Delivery (COD)" service offers a fast, secure, simple payment alternative for international trade.

  1. Importer and Exporter agree to purchase and sale terms and specify UPS Exchange Collect for financial settlement.
  2. The Exporter ships the goods by UPS. UPS notifies the Importer that goods are in transit and payment must be made before delivery. The notification includes the UPS bank account and routing instructions.
  3. The Importer instructs their bank to wire transfer payment to the UPS bank account. UPS will not accept cash, checks, credit cards, PayPal or Western Union money/wire transfers.
  4. After UPS receives payment, the shipment is delivered to the Importer.
  5. Upon verification of delivery, UPS remits funds to the Exporter.

UPS Exchange Collect minimizes the dependency, cost, and complexity involved with Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections or third party service providers.

  • Accelerates cash flow while assuring that payment is made before delivery for customers that pay slowly or not at all
  • Shipments can be made from 60 countries throughout the world
  • Available for shipments to Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom
