UPS and Live Nation Entertainment, the world's largest live entertainment company, have entered the third year of a multi-year partnership designed to make the touring industry a more eco-friendly business, showcasing UPS as a leader in logistics and sustainable business solutions. UPS is the exclusive global package, shipping and logistics sponsor of Live Nation and also serves as an Official Sustainability Partner. Live Nation Entertainment companies include Ticketmaster.com, one of the world's biggest e-commerce sites, along with Live Nation Concerts, producing more than 20,000 shows a year for more than 2,000 artists.

As part of the deal, Live Nation purchased certified carbon CO2 offsets from UPS, which provides carbon neutral shipping to deliver tickets and merchandise to fans. Additionally, UPS works with Live Nation and other music artists to move various concert tour equipment more sustainably. UPS will continue to work with Live Nation and eco-conscious artists to reduce their emissions by providing them with measurements of their current carbon footprint, and then developing customized plans using the company's multi-modal network to further cut emissions.

Under the partnership, UPS promotes its brand across Live Nation's diverse entertainment platforms that reach more than 30 million fans a year, through in-venue signage, VIP ticketing and hospitality events. UPS also advertises on the Live Nation and Ticketmaster websites, reaching more than 60 million users per year.


College Sports

It's no secret that college sports fans are passionate about their teams. Most boast wardrobes of their team colors and even have shrines in their homes dedicated to team memorabilia. As the "Official Logistics Partner" of the NCAA, Big Ten Conference, Pac-12 Conference and 70 individual colleges and universities, UPS has made a significant commitment to college sports. These partnerships offer UPS the opportunity to connect with the influential decision makers of today (alumni and fans) and tomorrow (students), and include significant marketing rights, customer and employee hospitality, and an opportunity to promote our global logistics expertise across the college sports landscape.


NASCAR

For the 15th consecutive season, UPS will serve as the Official Logistics Provider of NASCAR in 2014, providing critical pick-up and delivery services for race teams, vendors and suppliers at every NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event throughout the season.

In addition to its official partnership, UPS will continue its relationship with Roush Fenway Racing as a full-season associate sponsor of the No. 99 Ford, driven by Carl Edwards.

UPS continues to deliver its successful customer and employee hospitality activations in addition to serving as primary sponsor on the No. 99 Ford at Kentucky Speedway.

Ferrari Formula 1
UPS has expanded its presence in motorsports by entering Formula 1® racing through a multi-year partnership with Ferrari, as the brand's "Official Logistics and Shipping Sponsor."

The Ferrari sponsorship reinforces the UPS brand globally, positively impacting our business both on and off the track, and underlining our commitment to investing in key growth markets around the world.

UPS chose Ferrari for the business opportunities as well as the team's on-track performance and name recognition. As the Official Logistics and Shipping Sponsor of Ferrari, UPS is embedded in the company's daily operations, providing critical delivery and transportation services.

Our sponsorship with Ferrari brings together two great and iconic brands. UPS and Ferrari each boast histories rich in culture and tradition, and both companies are considered global icons as well as leaders in their respective industries.

As part of the sponsorship, UPS also benefits from significant visibility as Scuderia Ferrari competes in the Formula 1 World Championship, a truly global sporting series running annually from March through to November. Olympics
UPS continues the proud tradition of setting the world's stage in sports as an official supporter of the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. With our in-kind logistics support, UPS literally delivered the Games -- everything from moving scoreboards, podiums, television equipment and stage props, to assisting with venue selection and streamlining supply chain operations.

UPS operated nearly one million square feet of warehousing to support the Games. The sheer magnitude of the Games provided a unique challenge, and our track record with past games provides a wealth of experience from which to draw in order to produce a successful, truly global event. Golf
UPS maintains a presence in Golf through its sponsorship of two of golf's four Major Championships: as an International Partner to the Masters and as the Official Express Carrier to The Open Championship. In addition to these, UPS is also the Official Logistics and Express Partner to the BMW Masters in China.
