UPS is the Official Logistics and Express Sponsor of the European Golf Tour. The Tour oversees 53 tournaments spanning more than two dozen countries on five continents. The company has signed on as an official supplier of The Open Championship, the oldest and most prestigious of the four major championships in professional golf. In addition, UPS is sponsoring six tournaments during each year of its four-year agreement with The Tour. Those tournaments include the Volvo China Open, Ballantine's Championship, the BMW PGA Championship, the BMW International Open, Barclay's Scottish Open and the UBS Hong Kong Open. The other element of the golf program includes the sponsorship of two PGA stars, Lee Westwood and Pablo Larrazabál, as global brand ambassadors.
