We continually evaluate new sustainable packaging materials and currently strive to use the most environmentally-sound materials that still provide the necessary protection to get our customers' packages to their destination damage-free. Many The UPS Store locations accept clean, foam packaging peanuts and bubble cushioning for reuse. We are in the process of introducing an air-filled film material that can be reused or recycled, helping us reduce our carbon footprint by keeping polystyrene out of landfills and providing customers with packaging that can be recycled. The materials can be recycled with plastic bags waste.
