What other up-front notes or tips might speed up my development effort during API integration?

After you complete the integration of an Application Programming Interface (API), you get a better feel for our methodology and it may become easier to develop the other APIs. The following tips may help:
  • Your request message may generate a varying number of multiple response messages. For example, one Tracking request may generate one of several responses such as "Delivered" or "In Transit."
  • We use industry standard MIME types in the headers.
  • Currently, all of the examples we provide are Java centric. Examples have been successfully implemented on both Windows and UNIX platforms.
