Description

UPS automatically protects every shipment against loss or damage up to a certain value depending on the type of package and your location. With Declared Value for Carriage, you can request additional protection for your package up to the maximum allowed in your country.

The limits of protection may vary according to the service chosen, and the origin and destination of the shipment. Select View Pricing for Value-Added Services for more information.

Note: International air shipments may be governed by the Warsaw Convention, including its limitations of liability. Charges for declared value can be billed to the shipper (Prepaid), the receiver (Freight Collect), or to a third party (Bill Third Party).
