Customize Your Delivery Options With UPS Delivery Intercept
With UPS Delivery Intercept

, you can maintain control of your packages as they move through the UPS network. This service for shippers allows you to request the intercept of packages prior to delivery, providing greater flexibility in managing your shipping needs.
When you select UPS Delivery Intercept, you can request that UPS perform one of the following actions:
Return to Sender:
Return the package to the shipper
Deliver to Another Address:
Reroute the package to a new address
Reschedule Delivery:
Hold the package for delivery on a future date
Will Call:
Hold the package for pickup by the consignee
A fee is assessed for all types of requests except for Will Call, and you will only be charged if your intercept request is completed.
You can make the request to intercept your package at any time using your UPS shipping (Internet Shipping, UPS CampusShip, and UPS Worldship) or tracking (ups.com or Quantum View Manage) systems.
The interception will be made on the day of scheduled delivery.

You can make the request to intercept your package at any time using your UPS shipping or tracking system. The interception will be made on the day of scheduled delivery.
How to Request a UPS Delivery Intercept:
Follow these steps to request an intercept from your Tracking Detail. You can also request an intercept from your Shipping History.
Log in to My UPS.
Select the
Tracking
tab at the top of the page.
Enter your tracking number in the input field, or select a previously saved tracking number.
Select
Track
.
On the
Track Shipments
page, select the
Choose Another Delivery Option
link.
On the
Packages Eligible for Intercept
page, select the radio button next to the type of intercept you want to request for your package.
Select
Next
.
Regardless of your intercept type selection, UPS requires additional information to complete the request. Complete the required fields, indicated with a
symbol.
Select
Submit
. A confirmation page is displayed.
Note:
This request does not guarantee that the intercept will occur. You will only be charged if the intercept occurs.
