Customize Your Delivery Options With UPS Delivery Intercept
With UPS Delivery InterceptSM, you can maintain control of your packages as they move through the UPS network. This service for shippers allows you to request the intercept of packages prior to delivery, providing greater flexibility in managing your shipping needs.

When you select UPS Delivery Intercept, you can request that UPS perform one of the following actions:

  • Return to Sender: Return the package to the shipper
  • Deliver to Another Address: Reroute the package to a new address
  • Reschedule Delivery: Hold the package for delivery on a future date
  • Will Call: Hold the package for pickup by the consignee

A fee is assessed for all types of requests except for Will Call, and you will only be charged if your intercept request is completed.

You can make the request to intercept your package at any time using your UPS shipping (Internet Shipping, UPS CampusShip, and UPS Worldship) or tracking (ups.com or Quantum View Manage) systems.

The interception will be made on the day of scheduled delivery.
