Do I need to file a Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) / Electronic Export Information (EEI)?
Note: SED/EEI applies only to UPS shippers in the United States and Puerto Rico.

An SED/EEI is required when the value of a single commodity exceeds US$2,500 or for which an export license or license exemption is required.

Shipments to Canada are exempt from the SED/EEI process unless an export license or permit is required.
