Mandatory Electronic Shipper's Export Declaration (SED): On August 10, 2008, UPS will no longer accept paper SEDs from customers tendering U.S. export shipments. If you have a shipment that currently requires an SED, this process must be complete prior to giving the shipment to UPS or any of its vendors.

U.S. Food Import Rules: Under these regulations, any time a food shipment enters the United States, the FDA may demand information pertaining to the shipment and the immediate subsequent recipient.
