Photo ID Requirement at Retail Shipping Locations
Effective December 7, 2010, consumers who originate and tender a shipment to any retail shipping location will be required to show a government-issued photo ID as a form of identification. The photo must match the person tendering the shipment.

As part of Europe's Community Customs Code, new security procedures known as the Import Control System (ICS) will come into effect on 1 January 2011.

Effective immediately, the UK Department for Transport has updated the restriction on shipping ink and toner cartridges.
Mandatory Electronic Shipper's Export Declaration (SED)
On August 10, 2008, UPS will no longer accept paper SEDs from customers tendering U.S. export shipments. If you have a shipment that currently requires an SED, this process must be complete prior to giving the shipment to UPS or any of its vendors.
U.S. Food Import Rules
Under these regulations, any time a food shipment enters the United States, the FDA may demand information pertaining to the shipment and the immediate subsequent recipient.
