Current Fuel Surcharge Rate for Package Services:

All National Services and International Standard Service
Through 6 December 2009: 3.00%
Effective 7 December 2009: 3.50%

All International Express and Expedited Services
Through 6 December 2009: 12.50%
Effective 7 December 2009: 13.00%

All National Services and International Standard Service Fuel Surcharge
UPS uses an index-based surcharge that is adjusted monthly. Changes to the surcharge will be effective the first Monday of each month and posted approximately two weeks prior to the effective date. For your billing convenience, we will also post a 90-day fuel surcharge history. The National Services and International Standard Service Fuel Surcharge will apply to all National shipments as well as all European and Worldwide Standard shipments. The Surcharge will be based on the last week of the month average consumer prices of diesel fuel inclusive of duties and taxes from 2 months prior. Weekly updates are published by the European Commission Directorate General for Energy and Transport in the Oil Bulletin.

All International Express and Expedited Services Fuel Surcharge
UPS uses an index-based surcharge that is adjusted monthly. Changes to the surcharge will be effective the first Monday of each month and posted approximately two weeks prior to the effective date. The International Express and Expedited Fuel Surcharge will apply to all International Express Plus, Express, Express Saver and Expedited shipments. The surcharge will be based on the Rotterdam Jet Fuel Prices reported by the U.S. Department of Energy for the month that is two months prior to the adjustment.

Billing
If you have a UPS account number, the fuel surcharge will be included on your weekly bill. If you are an occasional UPS customer, a fuel surcharge will be included in your charges.
