This applies to all international UPS Standard shipments and all domestic shipments and is based on the average published consumer prices (including duties and taxes) of diesel fuel from the last week of the month that is two months prior to the adjustment. Weekly updates of these average prices are published by the European Commission Directorate General for Energy and Transport in the Oil Bulletin.

UPS uses an index-based surcharge that is adjusted monthly. Changes to the surcharge will be effective the first Monday of each month and posted approximately two weeks prior to the effective date. For your billing convenience, we will also post a 90-day fuel surcharge history. The International Express and Expedited Fuel Surcharge will apply to all International Express Plus, Express, Express Saver and Expedited shipments. The surcharge will be based on the Rotterdam Jet Fuel Prices reported by Platts for the month that is two months prior to the adjustment.

| If you have a UPS account number, the fuel surcharge will be included on your weekly bill. If you are an occasional UPS customer, a fuel surcharge will be included in your charges. |
