In the U.S. and Canada, shipments that don't require a signature can be left in a safe place at the driver's discretion. This could include the front porch, side door, back porch, or garage area. For residential deliveries that require a signature, you can leave instructions for the driver if no one will be home. For example, you can ask that the shipment be delivered to a neighbour who will be home. If an adult signature is required, and the sender has instructed us not to leave the shipment with a neighbour, we will make another delivery attempt on the next business day.

Yes. If you have received a UPS InfoNotice^® after a delivery attempt was made, you can request that UPS deliver your shipment to another address. Choose from either of these two methods to request a delivery address change:

• Write the alternate address on the "Comments Line" on the front of the UPS InfoNotice, then place the notice back in the same location where the driver originally left it. This alternate address must be in close proximity to your address, such as a neighbour's address.
• You may also change your delivery address on ups.com. Select the Tracking tab and enter your 12-digit InfoNotice number (found above the barcode) in the Tracking or InfoNotice Numbers field, and select the Track button. On the Tracking Summary page, select the Change Delivery button. Select the Deliver to Another Address option, and fill in the required details to have your shipment delivered to an alternate address.

1. Log in to My UPS.
2. Select the Shipping tab at the top of the page.
3. Select Create a Shipment in the area at the left and then select View History or Void Shipment.
4. Select the radio button next to the shipment you want to void.
5. Select Void Shipment.

You can help make sure that your package arrives safely and on time with these packaging guidelines and procedures developed from UPS research.

• Use a rigid box with flaps intact.
• Remove any labels, hazardous materials indicators and other previous and now irrelevant shipment markings from the box.
• Wrap all items separately.
• Use adequate cushioning material.
• Use strong tape designed for shipping.
• Do not use string or paper over-wrap.
• Use a single address label that has clear, complete delivery and return information.
• Place a duplicate address label inside the package.

To request Proof of Delivery, follow the instructions below:

1. Log in to My UPS.
2. Select the Tracking tab at the top of the page. This will take you to the Tracking main page.
3. Enter your Tracking Number in the input field, or select a previously saved tracking number.
4. Select Track.
5. Select Proof of Delivery on the Tracking Detail page to display a printable Delivery Notification page.
